Big changes coming to Jason's Weather Center
Two major changes will be coming to Jason's Weather Center...now!
- The biggest and most important change is the new address. I have switched hosts and have purchased a domain name. This means instead of the long http://www.freewebs.com/jays_weather_center address, it has been simplified to http://www.jasonsweathercenter.com. This will make it easier for people to remember the site address and simplify the process of finding it (i.e. more direct results on search engines). The new host I am using is 1 & 1 Hosting. After two great years with Freewebs.com, it came time to upgrade my services, and actually for a better price. The one downside is that I cannot use MS Frontpage Extensions and FTP Uploads at the same time. All this really means is I won't have the "fancy" Jason's Weather Station page, but a slightly more basic one on the findU Server at http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/wxpage.cgi?call=CW2867&last=12.
- The second big change is that I have expanded my coverage area. At times (though rarely) Louisiana weather gets a little "boring", so I thought, maybe I should start tracking weather in places like Texas and Florida and other southeastern states, which is why my site now has information for the entire southeastern United States. This includes the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
