Deadly tornadoes rip through central Florida

At 3:00 AM eastern time, during the early morning hours of February 2, deadly tornadoes ripped through central Florida near the Orlando area killing at least 19 people. Hardest hit areas include Lady Lake, The Villages, De Land, and Paisley. These communities are located to the north and northwest of the Orlando Area. According to Dr. Greg Forbes on The Weather Channel (severe weather expert), the damage experienced in central Florida will likely rank as an F3 tornado on the new Enhanced Fujita Scale. Storm surveys by the National Weather Service are expected to begin coming out Saturday so check back for updates.
